Setting Vcore voltage on Asus A7V266 motherboard

When trying to install my ASUS A7V266 motherboard, I encounter two problems:
- Setting up the Voltage Regulator Output Settings (VID) of my 1GHz AMD socket A CPU: In the motherboard manual I read "Vcore is generated according the CPU Default,..., the CPU VID configuration settings." It is possible to set the core voltage via Bios or manual, but it is never explained how to set the VID jumpers to have bios-generated vcore. Can someone give me the vcore of the CPU or tell me how to set these jumpers?
- What is the voltage of my DDR SDRAM 2100? Again the manual is not clear about it: The default voltage is 2.65 instead of 2.5 to have more stable working, but on the memory page I read "this motherboard only supports 2.5 DDR SDRAM. What voltage should I choose?

I don't want to fool with the settins, I just want to set the right setting. Preferably automaticly by the bios. However I must take one setting.

I found the jumper setting page and now see what you mean about the Vcore setting. I can't download the manual at present. Their download site is down. You shouldn't have to anything with the memory setting. They are running the voltage (2.5) a little high (2.65) for stability. I'll check back later today and see if I can find an answer for ya. I suspect the motherboard is set default to let the BIOS take care of it, but I would not bet a processor on it. Larry

Page 18 of the User Manual you sent me via E-Mail: Set the Jumper Mode to pins 2-3 (default) for “Jumper Free.” The BIOS should take care off the rest. The VCC_CORE for the Socket A, Model 4 Athlon is 1.65 volts minimum, 1.75 Nominal, and 1.85 maximum (http://www.amd.com/products/cpg/athlon/techdocs/pdf/23792.pdf, Page 25). I would leave the CPU Vcore at the CMOS default, which looks like 1.775 from the Asus manual, page 59.
I would leave the memory voltage settings at default. Should work fine. Larry
