please help with my motherboard

i have the abit kg7 raid when i boot up the cd rom lights come on, the fan on the motherboard,the cpu fan and my video card fans all work but there is no signal to the monitor there is no speaker sounds when booting up the speaker cable is correctly hooked up

512mb ddr memory
please help me

Is this a pc a new build? I would try the following:
clear the cmos.( take a break when doing so, I have had to leave one cleared overnight already to get a pic to boot before)
make sure the video card is seated poperly.
Make sure ram is in dimm properly, and try another if possible.
If this was just put together, make sure motherboard is attached in case properly, removing any standoffs that are not being used to secure the board to the case.
