I had LX/EX 400 motherboard with 8 MB SiS 6326 AGP card. Recently, I got my M/B changed to a new one in which there is no separate display card and my vendor tells he has given me the latest M/B wherein the AGP is in-built so no separate display card required. He has kept my AGP card with him. Processor is same Celeron 400. Now I feel that quality of display is not all that good compared to earlier M/B, AGP card. I checked the display adapter - it's intel graphics controller 82810. Help will be highly useful with the following:
-- How do I know which M/B I have got and is it better than previous?
-- How do i know whether AGP capability is in-built in my M/B and what memory?
-- I installed DirectX 8 and ran tests, one of the results was that "your system does not support hardware buffering, only software buffering is possible". Is it serious? Does it mean that no AGP capability is in-built in my M/B?
-- Do i need to install latest display drivers? How to select which ones?
Deep thanks in advance.
