Hi there; I'm a rookie interested in moving up to a /- 1 gig cpu, motherboard, memory. My current machine (PII 233 MMX, Astoria motherboard) has a 200 watt power supply. Is this sufficient for any of my options (PIII, Duron, Athlon) or do I have to replace the power supply as well? 2. RE: Motherboard Power Supply lbyard Jan-13-02 05:46 PM In response to message 0
The power supply is not sufficient. Plan on a 300 Watt power supply or larger depending on what you are going to put in the computer. See http://duxcw.com/dcforum/DCForumID5/588.html. Larry
