I have a VC820 Intel slot 1 motherboard. Is it possible to buy an adapter to allow the motherboard to accept a FC-PGA socket 370 processor? 1. RE: slot 1 vs FC-PGA Twinhead Mar-30-02 04:26 PM In response to message 0
It is worth a try! An adaptor does not cost very much. It will allways accept PPGA processors. These are thicker, and have a large Procesor die. They ranges from Celeron 333 to Celeron 533 A Celeron 600 and above are FCPGA types. Only newer boards will accept them properly.Victor.
