Problems with Quantum slave

I have an old Pentium 91 Mhz machine with a 672 MB primary hard drive (Western Digital Caviar) and a 3.2 GB slave (Quantum Fireball SE). The OS is Windows 95. I am trying to repartition and format the slave drive. When I run fdisk, it shows a max capacity of 462kB for the slave drive but the CHS configuration is correct on the BIOS (version 1.00.12AX1T).
Don't know what is happening. Could anybody help?

462 Kbytes or 462 Mbytes? The BIOS has to support LBA or you need something like DM (http://navigation.helper.realnames.com/framer/1/262/default.asp?realname=Maxtor&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Emaxtor%2Ecom&frameid=1&providerid=262&uid=30014084) or EZ if it doesn’t. I would disconnect the WD drive, connect the Quantum as a master and do fdisk/format from a floppy. Win 95 before the OSR2 version does not support FAT32 and the max partition for a FAT16 operating system is 2 GB. Larry
