This is an NT 4.0 Workstation. How do I mirror the two drives set up as Master and Slave. 1. RE: How do I mirror two identical hard drives in NT 4.0 lbyard Apr-12-01 05:26 PM In response to message 0
I'm not certain, but I think you need NT Server or RAID hardware to do that. I have done it with my NT server. With NT server it is done in Start, Programs, Administrative Tools (Common), Disk Administrator. Larry 2. I have copies of articles from other NT specific sites stating that you can use the FTDISK.exe utility on the NT Resource Kit to MANUALLY configure a mirror set. I have not actually done this to completion, but have gone up to the point of having to commit to the changes then chickened out. I believe it will work and am waiting for the opportunity to experiment on a non-production machine. Try it, your mileage may vary. Good luck!
