I don't know if in fact different drives will work together in a RAID 0 configuration (See http://duxcw.com/digest/guides/mb_chip/htp370/index.html ). I would be leery of doing it with drives that are not identical because RAID 0 interleaves data on the drives at the sector level. I do know that “Identical drives are recommended for performance as well as data storage efficiency.” Larry
