I need to mount a hard drive on an existing computer so that I can access and transfer files. The problem is the result of a linux novice (me) and an attempt at partioning a hard drive and then installing mandrake. I have windows me on the functioning computer and I was wandering what to do to mount a hard drive that has (or had) a win98 fat32 partion and a ext2 partion on it so that I can access it. 1. Try connecting it where the CD-ROM is connected if it is on a separate cable and see if you can see anything with the Windows Explorer. There are other things I would attempt if that doesn’t work… Larry 2. RE: I need help fast Poritz Nov-03-01 04:48 AM In response to message 1
