Hi,I Have a Toshiba MK1301MAV 2.5" HDD and I want to transfer files to it using my PC. I have purchased an adapter (2.5" to 3.5" 44 to 40 pin IDE adapter) and have a removable HDD caddy. The problem is that the system won't POST and just emits a two-tone error sound from the M/Board speaker. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I have tried it with another Toshiba 2.5" drive and used several configurations (tried it on both IDE channels slave and master) even just on its own. I know the drives are ok, as I have formatted them both using PQ Magic and run scandisk using my laptop. I have also checked the adapter with a multi meter I have considerable experience with PCs (having built several). I am at a stumped Help! My System: -
