installing dvd and hard drive.....

Building my first comp and ive got a quick question
Initially i am going to have a dvd rom and a single hard drive in my system....later on i will add a cd copier.
When im installing the first two devices should i keep them on the same IDE cable and set both sets of jumpers as master...i know that the hard drive must be set as master.
Or should i keep them on seperate IDE cables and..... um after that im not too sure

If they are on the same cable one has to a MASTER and the other a SLAVE. Recommend putting them on separate cables and setting both to MASTER. See http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/cdrom/index.html and http://duxcw.com/faq/hd/cable.htm. Larry
