I was following one of Larrys' guides on building a computer specific startup disk and I have run into a snag. I have Win98SE, a Creative PC-DVD drive, and a HP 8200 CD-Writer. I do not have any CD Rom drivers in my config.sys or Autoexec.bat files. What is the best approach for building the startup disk with CD Rom type support? Thanks, Will 1. Use http://www.duxcw.com/digest/Fromshop/software/windows/startup/startup.htm. The Startup floppy made that way will have config.sys and autoexec.bat files and a generic driver, etc, that will work with most CD-ROM/CD-RW, and DVD drives. Also, see http://www.duxcw.com/faq/cdrom/cdrom.htm. Larry
