I was following one of Larrys' guides on building a computer specific startup disk and I have run into a snag. I have Win98SE, a Creative PC-DVD drive, and a HP 8200 CD-Writer. I do not have any CD Rom drivers in my config.sys or Autoexec.bat files. What is the best approach for building the startup disk with CD Rom type support?Thanks, Will

Use http://www.duxcw.com/digest/Fromshop/software/windows/startup/startup.htm. The Startup floppy made that way will have config.sys and autoexec.bat files and a generic driver, etc, that will work with most CD-ROM/CD-RW, and DVD drives. Also, see http://www.duxcw.com/faq/cdrom/cdrom.htm. Larry
