I have a hard drive for my laptop and having a heck of a time deleting the first Partition. I used FDISK and it deletes the first partition. The drive was Partitioned as
1st Partition was NTFS
2nd Partition was FAT32I had WinNT4 on the system and now want to remove it and just install Win98.
My problem is the Cdrive is located on the second partition. I have a recovery CD that will install Win98 on the drive (I cant find my orig CD). It installs in on the Cdrive with no problems, but after the recovery is done and I reboot, I get a Missing Operating System error...
I tried using FDISK to remove both partition without much success. The recovery CD works fine because I was able to use it on another system without error.
Any ideas?
