missing cd-rom drive

My 2 cd-roms cant recongize on my computer? i check in the device manager, it's not showing any cd-rom drives either. (the power are connected tho)
pls help

If they are on the same flat cable, one should be jumpered as a Master and the other as a Slave. Get one going at a time.

both are working couple days ago and the setting should be right on the master and slave. Do you think it's missing the path on eith autoexec or config?

I think it is most likely a loose flat cable or a drive that has failed. Try one at a time. You didn't change your configuration files, did you?Larry
