on my home pc, a 6gig hard disk is partitioned into drive c,d,e. I am running very low on disk space and want to combine d,e back into c. This is drowning my pc b/c it is low on disk space on c. How can I delete or re-partition these drives back into one drive=c without losing any data? I hope I explained this well, any help would be great!

You would need to back-up C:, D: and E; to another drive or network and use a program such as Partition Magic (http://www.powerquest.com/) or BootWizard Pro 4.0 (http://www.acronis.com/en/products/bwp40/index.html) to expand C:. Note that I said backup C: I would use MS Backup, which comes with Windows and may need to be installed (http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/software/windows/winme/backup/index.html) and make two backups of critical data. The beforementioned partition management programs are designed for technically proficient PC users and can go awry. Do it at your own risk. Larry 2.
