password

I would like to change the MS password to an old computer. The problem I have is I cant remember the old password. How do I go about getting around this?

Delete name.pwl in the c:\windows folder, where name is the login name. This is an encrypted password file. Deleting it will also delete all passwords that Windows has remembered: Internet web sites requiring a password, etc. Another option is to rename the file in case you decide you want to restore it.
