Minimize from a batch file

Is there a command or a switch I can execute from a batch file to minimize a windows executable file that I call in a batch file. To be more specific, windows media player. I need to call to it to play a song from a batch file, but I need it to run minimized with no user intervention. I tried the /? switch for help, but I got nothing.

Make a shortcut to the executable. Once made, right-click the shortcut and select properties... Larry
