Boot.ini - Where can I find it in ME and 2000? I know it doesn't exist as "boot.ini" as in NT4 but it must exist somewhere, any ideas?Thanks,

David, boot.ini exists in Windows 2000 as it does in NT4. Location...
Windows 2000 and NT: C:\
Windows Me: nowhere
To see the file in the Windows Explorer, set Tools, Folder Options, to show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files. I guess msdos.sys in Windows 9x, and Me could be considered to be somewhat like boot.ini.
