Missing Fonts in Word

I have just installed Office 97 on a PC running Win98SE. When i go into word i don't have any fonts installed, however in Excel and other programs the full compliment is available. I have tried creating a Word document in MS Binder, but the result is the same.
Has anyone had similar problems before, or can anyone think of the solution?

As soon as I posted this I figured out the answer: The only installed printer was a text only/generic printer. I ainstalled a TT printer, jobs a good un!
