Is there a way to create a Notice or Message in NT 4.0 after the user logs in and the system is loading? I wanted to have like a notepad or a word doc pull up with a notice on it for the user's to see. I know I can creat logon banners or legal notices but I wanted to see if there is a way to make a notepad or word doc execute at startup and open for the user to see? Thanks. 1. You could probably do it with a login script (from the server click Help, Index, enter login; http://windows2000.about.com/library/weekly/aa031200a.htm). Larry 2. RE: Creating Startup Notice/message in NT.... nbc Aug-24-01 08:45 AM In response to message 0
There is a function in the Registry for doing it, I am not sure where it is but if you check the MS Knowledge Base I am sure I read it on there somewhere.
