Win 98SE?

I have the Win 98 Second Edition Updates CD. If I use this disk to update to SE will I loose all my installed programs? Would it write over the Registry to a point I would have to install some or all of my programs, of which I would be had pressed to remember all that are installed?

You shouldn’t, but it is possible for an upgrade install to go awry.
