Dual Boot/Dual Disks

Hi! I have 2 HDs, one with w98 the other one with w2k. Is there a way of creating a dual boot menu for this configuration, just like the one existing for both systems in one HD? Any ideas? Tnx!

Two partitions or two drives, it makes no difference. The requirement is that the operating systems have to be on different logical drives, which can be separate partitions on the same drive or separate partitions of separate drives. Assuming 98 is on C:, you may have to do this: http://duxcw.com/dcforum/DCForumID7/393.html. I would like some feedback on this procedure. Larry

Sorry but I'm kind of slow... Let me describe my system first, the w2k is on partition 1 of PMaster HD (there are 3 partitions in this disk) and w98 is on partition 1 of the PSlave HD (also 3 part.). I changed the boot.ini file to access the second HD, and it looks like this:

The problem is that everytime I select the w98 option, the system just restarts...
Now back to the page you referred, I installed w2k without the w98 HD being present (I only added it later) and what confused me was that on step 6 you told to 'install'. Should I do this on an already installed system?
Btw, in w2k, the w2k part. appears as C and the w98 part. as F. amn

Yes. In that procedure I installed with Me booted and directed the install to the partition where 2K was already installed. Backup first. Larry
