My Windows 98 is installed from an original CD and i've been using it bout 1 year. Recently when I boot up my Windows as usual, the boot up message--"Starting Windows 98..." was changed to "Starting Memphis..." and the startup screen was changed to Memphis start up screen also. Is it some kind of joke ???
Plz help me to overcome this ploblem. Thanks

Wasn't this the working title for W98? I think W95 was "Chicago" (or is it the other way around?)
I realise that this probably doesn't help your problem, but thought it may bve relevant in some way?!
