Hi,
I am using WIndows Me and when I do a shut down it sometimes switches the pc off and some times it stay on without switching it off.
Please can you help me identify this problem.Thank you Kamlesh

It could be an anti-virus program. If you have Norton or McAfee check their web site for Me updates. Otherwise, try Ctrl-Alt-Delete (once) after issuing the shutdown command to bring-up the Task Manager to see if a program is still running and kill it. Larry
