ME not one to register

Can anyone tell me, since I am not one to register software, if I will be able to install and not register WIN/Me over my unregistered copy of WIN98? The box says it is for registered users. (only?) Who cares if Bill is collecting user data? Not ME.

By unregistered I presume you have legal copy of Win 98, but do not care to register it. Win Me ought to install over it. For more info see http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/software/windows/winme/install/inst.html. If it isn't a legal copy, this is not the place to discuss it. Larry
