My DVD-CD Rom drive won't recognize most of my cd's after I installed Windows ME. Do you know what might be the problem??

Go to the Control Panel, System, Device Manger, Click on the DVD drive, Driver Tab, Update driver, and try to get Win Me to take the one that came with the DVD drive instead of a Win Me driver. You might check the DVD manufacturer's web site for any relevant info/drivers. Larry
