How to give cd recorder/burner rights to normal users?

I'm running a Win2k professional on my PC and there are a few users(restricted and power users) using the PC.
When the other users other than the administrator run the cd burner software(NERO burning), a screen pop up saying that the normal users have no access rights to use the cd recorder/burner, and ask the administrator for permission.
How do I make adjustments to the account of other users so that they have rights to access the software and use the cd recorder?

i think if u put the user in the backup operators group he can use the
recorder.......

After I assigned the user in the backup opeartors group, I still can,t access the CDRW drive when I run the NERO Burning Rom software.
Is there no other way???

I've try looking for the windows help file but it proved to be of no use. Can anyone help? Any suggestions and I'm willing to try.

I never had to do this but since you're looking for suggestions....
It would appear to me you want to give the users the most restrictive access and still be able to use the burner.
I would start by checking the "restricted user" first and if that doesn't work, the "standard user".
If neither one works, which would surprise me, make them members of the local administrator group; that should allow them to do anything on the machine...
