When using MSconfig, you can turn off programs that you do not want to load on start up, but they are still in the list. Is there a way to clean up the list and remove them so there is no chance that the system can turn them back on? 1. RE: Win 98 SE DJ Net2Infinity Jun-12-02 10:02 AM In response to message 0
The only way is to edit your registry, make sure you have a working backup copy before you modify anything. http://www.3dspotlight.com/tweaks/startup/startup-6.shtml 2. RE: Win 98 SE lbyard Jun-12-02 12:11 PM In response to message 1
If they are (mostly) old programs, also look for load= and run = lines in the win.ini file with msconfig. Larry
