XP Install Error - SXS.DLL manifest or poilcy file error.

I receive the following error whilst installing WinXP:
SXS.DLL manifest or policy file D:\I386\asm\6001....
error on line 0.
Component not fould etc.
The installation then fails to procede.
Anyone how I can fix this?

I think it's this known problem: The Flags in a Typelib Element of an Assembly Manifest Can Be Only Restricted or Null (Q316696) at http://support.microsoft.com/search/preview.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q316696 (copy and paste the whole link). But, to be honest, I don't know what they are talking about. Larry
