OK, I have XP installed on my computer.I turned on this morning and XP told me it was going to check system. This always happens when i turn off before XP wants me to.It checked out everything and started to boot when a message came up. (parse error, at line173) when i clicked ok box it refused to do anything? What is it?and how can i fix it. 1. RE: Start Problem lbyard Jul-08-02 12:58 PM In response to message 0
I don't know except some program found an error in a file at line 173 when it was parsing it: a programming error of some sort. The error does not "sound" like a Windows error. Maybe it is an error in a php, etc. page on the Internet that you are trying to use for an active desktop or home page. I’d check for a virus. Larry 2. Parse errors are usually found in php programming which is a web page. Have you done a system check before this? has the error come up other times? Are you running a web page on your desktop? Definitly do a virus check, and then try again. 3. RE: Start Problem lbyard Jul-17-02 09:28 PM In response to message 2
I believe I said all or almost all of this in my post, did I not? Larry
