Outlook Express 6 problem

Hi All Guys,
My Win XP box has 2 email software, Outlook Express 6 and Eudora 5.1
I have problem in "Send" and "Receive" emails in Outlook Express 6
Previously IE6 worked in this box. For unknown reasons it could not work yesterday. Nothing has been touched on IE6 settings. I re-checked it.
I fail to see the problem coming from ISP. With the same settings (outgoing and incoming mails) Eudora works on the same WinXP box.
Problem
1)
Send / Receive Mails :- Following warning pop-up
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include sever problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account 'Mail account' ser. 'mail02.net-yan.com', Protocol:SMTP, Port:25, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number. 0x800CCC0F

2)
I tried to make some change in Tools --> Accounts --> Mail s--> Properties -->
Advanced
Under Advanced tab
Outgoing mail (SMTP) 25
This service requires a secure connection (SSL)(I selected this line)
Incoming mail (POP3) 110 (on selection changed to 995)
This service requires a secure connection (SSL)
(I selected this line (POP3) 110 it changed to (POP3) 995
Still failed to send and receive emails with following warnings pop-up
Send Mails

The server does not support a SSL connection. Account: 'Hutchison', Server: 'mail02.net-yan.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '250 8BITMIME', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 250, Error Number: 0x800CCC7D
Receive Mails
==========
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Hutchison', Server: 'pop.net-yan.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
Kindly advise how to rectify these problems

When was Eudoro installed? If your started having problems right after installing it, you know what caused them. If both were running OK before, match the ISP settings. I would not run two mail systems on the same computer. Other than that, I'd call your ISP. Larry

Thanks for your response.
Outlook Express 6 works now but I still could discover the cause of the problem. I just remove the acount from
Tools --> Accounts --> Mail
under "Internet Accounts" window and re-enter it with the same information.
Then it works again.
Actually Outlook Express 6 co-exists with Eudora in my WinXP box and WinME box for a prolonged time without problem (For some reasons I have to keep both of them running on the same OS although it is not a good arrangement. I will remove Eudora soon if everything settled).
I have not touched anything on the mail account and it worked smoothly in the past. But suddenly one day Outlook Express 6 ceased to download and send emails for unknown reasons.
OK. Problem solved now. Thanks again for your response.
