I bought a used computer, and I knew it would not start when I bought it. I have checked all connections, ram, hd, floppy drive. When I power it on the green power light comes on and nothing comes on the screen and it makes no noise. I try to turn it off with the power button and the green light stays on. I have tryed the reset button and it stays on. Does anybody have any suggestions, I thought I could get it running again, but maybe I am gonna have to take to a shop.. Thanks,

I think so. Never, never buy a used laptop that is not working. They can be extremely expensive to fix. I guess I don't have to tell you that now. Larry
