I have just installed Windows 2000 on my computer that also has Windows 98. I would like to know how to change the boot menu(where you pick which os to boot to) so it doesn't have Win2k as the default operating system, I would like to have it as Windows 98. Please help 1. You need to edit the "DEFAULT=" line in the WIN2K file named "boot.ini". This file uses parameters from the ARC naming convention. If you're not familiar with the ARC naming protocol, I'd *highly recommend* you read up on it before attempting to edit this file, or you might wind up with an unbootable PC.Best wishes...
