Hello everyone! I recently re-installed W2K on my computer. I went in and set up everything for my dial-up and checked the box to "save password." The problem is that when I select my dial-up to connect, there is an incorrect password that comes up. This ends up being several characters longer than the password that I had set in DUN properties. When I go back to the DUN properties, the incorrect password is set there as well. I had thought, incorrectly, that perhaps W2k placed psuedo characters in the password section for security purposes, as not to reveal the password character length. This is a common practice with some government systems that I work with. If anyone could help it certainly would be a great assistance to me. Thanks in advance. 1. According to Password Length Appears Changed in Windows 2000 Dial-up Networking Connection Manager http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q262359 (copy and paste the entire link) it is supposed to be 16 * long. Larry
