p4 2.26B benches

Got a 2.26 B 533 bus cpu the other day
Pretty sweet stuff. All on air of course with a Volcano 7+ in my enermax case. Have a thermalright AX478 cooler coming so I hope it goes higher. V7 doesnt seem to do as good a job cooling the 2.26 as it did the 1.6a.

Must be nice to be "rich" (or not to have a wife who is real tight with money)... Just did a quick google search and found this Enermax case (http://www.mikhailtech.com/articles/cases/enermaxfs710bb/). Looks a lot like an Antec case I have here for a review (long overdue). How are they? Larry

That is the case I have except in black. Excellent layout.comes with 2 fans in the font and 2 in the back ( quiet ones) One of the ones in the front is a hard drive fan. It is a full tower but not a huge one in size. Was well worth the money.It is same as the Antec and chieftec cases.
As far as buying new stuff, I aways turn around and sell the older item I am replacing, so though its not free, I get to try stuff out for a small price.( selling 1.6a soon, will probably get what I payed for it)

Wifey has my old p3 1000, son has a 633 celeron @ 1030ish and server is a 1.2 celeron that i got really cheap. The first 2 used to be my stuff, so I basically do the same as well. Daughter is 2 and says she wants a computer too. Oh dear.

He is 9 and has been into them for 3 years. Can install his own programs in the correct partition ( that would be D:\games\XXX) He knows how to defrag, play music and movies of the server in the basement from his pc, install some hardware etc
He recently got a playstation 2 for making the principal's honor board so he hasn't been on the pc so much with that and going to camp and karate.

You must be very proud of him, as well you should. We don't hear enough about young people like your son. The news is full of stories about those who do bad things. Times have indeed changed. My 12 year old is now 22 years old. Larry
