In the final picture you have a fan installed on the back of the case, up high by the CPU. Does this configuration create conflicting currents? I had a System exhaust fan on my rig but it used a vacant PCI opening on the case and was down low. Knowing that heat rises, I took that out and installed a different fan similar to the picture you show in your 'How-to' Socket A article. At first I get a temperature improvement, but now it seems to have slipped a little. Before my CPU would run about 96 degrees F at idle, and 103 degrees F when gameing. Now I run 93 degrees F @ idle, and about 100 degrees F gaming. Are these good temps? Do I need to jigsaw out some 4" blow-holes out of the top of my case to get cooler? What have you seen regarding Socket A temperatures? I don't overclock, I just want longevity ...
