ATA/33, ATA/66, ATA/100 Compatibility

Q.  Will an old ATA/33 (UDMA/33) hard disk drive work with motherboards that support ATA/66 or ATA/100 disk drives?

A  It should.  Also, the ATA/66/100 cables I have tried work with ATA/33 drives.
