Q. How do I set-up an SMC Barricade broadband
router so I can do mIRC DCC file transfers?
A. With your browser connect to http://192.168.123.254/
(or whatever IP address you may have assigned to the Barricade), login, and
click Special AP. Add the following line:
Trigger 59
Incoming Ports 1024-5000
Check Enable
Reboot
I tested mIRC 32-bit, version 5.82, using DCC to send and receive a file. It
worked just fine with my SMC 7004BR Barricade with firmware version R1.92a.
