Q. How can one automate the Windows XP login?

A. Click Start, Run, enter control userpasswords2 Open: textbox , uncheck the Users must enter a username and password to use this computer check box, Apply, Enter the User Name and Password that you desire to autmaticlly logon as, OK. You will not get the pop-up with the option to enter the default user login Name and Password unless you click Apply (the red one above). Larry
