Will, try going into your CMOS Setup, PnP Setup and changing IRQs 5 and 10 from PCI/ISA PnP to ISA Legacy. Your sound card is probably not Plug 'n Prey and most sound cards use IRQs 5 and 10. One or both of these IRQs are probably set for PCI/ISA PnP and one your PCI cards/motherboard resources is grabbing one or both of these Interrupt Request Lines and causing a conflict with the sound card.
