And when you put the old memory back in, it stops beeping and works, right? You have the wrong kind of memory, the memory is too slow, the memory is defective, the computer is not setup for that kind of memory, or the memory is not seated properly. Try pulling the memory and reinstalling it. Good luck. Larry
