Sounds like a bad floppy drive; although, when I see a problem like that it isn't. It is usually a bad box of floppy disks. Could be a virus. Could be that the floppy drive on the other machine is out of alignment. Or how about a magnetic screw driver near by? I'll bet on the last one. Larry
