On my particular computer, there was no option to change from automatic to manual in the PnP setup but I was able to change IRQs 5 and 10 from PCI/PnP to ISA. It didn't say Legacy ISA but it seemed close enough to me and so far the stuttering seems to be gone. I'll have to get my five year old to do some serious playing to see if it really is gone but so far so good. Thanks a lot for your help. Jayme
