Bob, is the ATA/66 controller part of the motherboard or a separate expansion board. If it is a separate board, you may have to install a driver for it on the Startup floppy. That would probably involve copying the driver to the floppy and putting a line in your config.sys file. If it is part of the motherboard, the Startup floppy should see the hard disk drives. I don't buy the line about the nature of MS-DOS (because it isn't true). Larry
