I would double-check the client configuration. Do you have the gatew 192.168.0.2 setup on the client per http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/network/win98se/client.htm ? You have most of the battle won with TCP/IP working at both ends. You could have left NetBEIU installed. Larry
