Jason, I do not see where the 591P motherboard is rated for a 450 Mhz K6-3 on Shuttle's site or AMD's site. Also, the BIOS notes indicate 400 Mhz. All other references I found say 300 Mhz. It still may work, however. I would contact Shuttle (see our manufacturer links). If the board will take a 450 than you probably have a memory problem. Larry
