Glenn, I'm not sure from your message that you read my article on how to share an Internet connection with Windows 98 See :http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/network/win98se/intro.htm. Later, I wrote review on Sybergen's SyGate Internet sharing software: http://duxcw.com/digest/Reviews/Network/sygate/sygate.htm. SyGate is better than Windows 98 SE ICS for Internet sharing, expecially if you want to play games or conference. You can download a 60-day trial of SyGate from Sybergen. You will need a third network adapter. The cable MODEM has to have one an you will need two more for the lacal network; i.e., one computer will have two network adapters. You do not need a hub for a two PC network. You can use a cross-over cabe. See: http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/network/cable/cable1.htm. There are 4 and 5-port hubs on the market which are cheaper than an 8-port hub. Larry
