1. Use the MicroSoft IPX/SPX, not Novell's, and leave all of the settings default. 2. I agree, the Microsoft Knowledge Base article is in error. 3. The statement is not true. File sharing is not a function of the protocol. You can share files with a computer running only IPX/SPX. 4. Yes. Larry
