This may be a strange one. My computer has been doing this for awhile now, and I have no idea how to fix it. I boot up, the Win 95 screen comes up, then goes black and the message "Windows protection error. You need to re-start your computer" comes up. I do Ctrl-Alt-Delete, the Start Options screen comes up, and I choose Step by Step Confirmation, pushing enter for each question. When I get to Load all Windows Drivers? and push enter, the computer boots fine (a little slow, tho)! The worst part is, sometimes the computer boots up fine when I turn it on, other times, the above sequence of events happens. Any help on this would be much appreciated! My particulars: FIC PA2012 MB, AMD K6 (not K6-2), 96 Mb RAM, 4 Mb ASUS AGP-V3000 video card, Win 95 4.00.950 B.
