That's because time is running faster in the year 2000 than it did in the last century and the computer can't keep up with it... No, this problem may be related to Y2K and it may not. Since the clock is crystal controlled, the is "hardwired" in the MVP3 southbridge chip, and none of my "G" board customers have reported a similar problem, I suspect you either have a weak CMOS battery or a misbehaved software program.
